What We Do
.
Drug-free is a value best handed off from parents to kids, so that’s our primary focus. Parents hold the key. It’s true; often it takes only a mom or a dad (or a grandma or granddad).

So we scour the world for strategies that are working, then lay them out for parents in the form of practical, usable tools. We help kids develop decision-making skills so they tend to do the smart thing and for the right reasons. The fact is, there is a powerful link between having a positive purpose in life and making right choices.

There’s a lot of good help available, but much of it is buried in research websites, scientific books, technical journals, written in specialized jargon, or scattered around the web. We find the best, interpret it so about anyone can understand it, then provide America’s parents with strategies that are fun, comfortable, and effective. We also commission the preparation of fresh new insights from family systems specialists, counselors, and effective parents.

We deliver tools many parents don’t even know exist. We provide the kind of resources that help parents teach and challenge their kids, so they are less apt to find drug use appealing.

And everything we do is free to the user. So look around, we think you'll find a lot of helpful resources.

“One part of a parent’s role is to lead a child toward promising options.”
